ordered this pot and was not expecting to receive it so quickly. It was delivered to my home in 3 business days. my family loves sauerkraut and until now, I was using a makeshift system. Believe me this fermenting pot is so easy to use and looks great as well on my counter. I am waiting for my first batch of sauerkraut to be ready. well worth the cost. Thank you

5L Fermenting Crock

There are a few spots on the crock that do not have a complete glaze on top however it seems to be working properly.
Merchant's comment:Thanks for your feedback. It is important to note that all the crock pots we offer are hand glazed, and it is typical for there to be inconsistencies in the glaze. If you would like to seal any glazing inconsistencies, you can always use a clear food grade silicone sealant which will typically bond to stoneware and be safe for use even in areas where there is food contact.

I bought the five liter crock for my husband for Christmas. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Perfect size for our family (3). My husband is the cook-I know I'm lucky- and he is working on a fermented carrot ginger combo. Delicious!! So happy with my purchase.

We Love our Crock Pot. We are planting more cabbage this spring for more sour kraut!!
Wonderful with all meat, in sandwiches and everything else. Not just cabbage, pickled beets too!
