Commercial ready-to-use soy milk contains significant amounts of additives and preservatives. One of the reasons for making soymilk at home is to know and control what is in the soymilk. Without those additives, your home made fresh soy milk may taste slightly differently from commercial made-to-last soy milk. Taste the difference!

Tastes Like Eden Soy Brand Soy Milk
  • 1/3 gallon of soy milk made in a soy milk maker
  • Cool the milk in the refrigerator till it is at least lukewarm
  • Add 1/4 tsp salt
  • Add 2 tbs sugar
  • Add 3 tbs barley malt
  • Add 1 tbs vanilla flavoring

  • Stir to mix in well

    Tastes Like Soy Dream Brand Soy Milk
  • 1/3 gallon of soy milk made in a soy milk maker
  • Let the milk cool down to room temperature
  • Add 1/8 tsp. sea salt
  • Add 3 tablespoons organic brown rice syrup

  • Stir to mix in well

    Orange Soy Milk Smoothie
  • Two cups soy milk
  • ½ cup less or more frozen orange juice*
  • One tsp lemon juice
  • Sugar as desired
  • Ice cubes as desired

  • Combine all ingredients, except ice, in an electric blender. Blend until smooth. Add ice and blend another 15-30 seconds. Pour and enjoy.

    * The frozen orange juice can be replaced by a fresh orange, fresh or frozen strawberries, a fresh banana, crushed pineapple or any combination.
